Take a journey to the heart of Tuscany with a stunning selection of Chianti wines, whilst sampling 4 courses of beautifully paired Bread Street Kitchen dishes.
Hosted by a Cantina La Sala ambassador, you'll discover the history behind the established winery and the vinification processes, whilst tasting their signature wines and vintages.
Begin the evening with Focaccia bread made with 2018 Olio Evo Chianti Classico olive oil. Your starter of foie gras parfait, confit duck, pickled cherries, green beans, and toasted almonds will be paired with a 2015 Chianti Classico. Then the main event, a Beef Wellington with summer truffle mash and bone marrow sauce, will be served with a complementary 2015 Chianti Classico, Gran Selezione.
After indulging in your Wellington, enjoy a delicious dessert of strawberry trifle, elderflower and Vin Santo jelly with almond biscotti. The wine pairing for this sweet course will be a 2011 Vin Santo del Chianti Classico.
Finish your Wellington & Wine Dinner with our British cheese selection, and the final wine pairing - a 2015 Campo All’Albero.
