Sandwiches, scones, sweets – all done properly. Roasted Chicken and Scottish Smoked Salmon, scoops of Devonshire Clotted Cream and Strawberry & Basil Jam, Gordon’s Wagon Wheel and suitably moreish Sticky Toffee Madeleines.
Oysters and Chicken and Caviar Nuggets to start, because we don’t do anything by halves. Stonebass Crudo and a Wagyu Meatball that earns its place on any menu, then a Duroc Pork Chop that stops the table in its tracks.
Seafood snacks set the tone, followed by starters – Steak & Veal Tartare, Heirloom Tomatoes Burrata – rich in colour and flavour. Then, the main event: a 300-day grain-finished Miguel Vergara Bone-in Ribeye, executed with the confidence of a kitchen at its best, served with a supporting cast of worthy sides.
