Gordon Ramsay, the world-renowned chef and global television star, is to return to ITV to front a new primetime documentary series, a daytime cookery show and appear as a host on the network’s forthcoming late night entertainment series, ‘The Nightly Show’.

The new programmes mark Gordon Ramsay’s return to the channel where he first launched the globally successful and multi-award nominated TV programme, ‘Hell's Kitchen’.

Studio Ramsay will produce a new daytime cookery show for 2017 – ‘Culinary Genius’. Due to air later this year, the show will take an entirely original format, mixing food with compelling gameshow and cooking elements. The show will run for four weeks on ITV – with Gordon himself appearing in week one – and each episode will see 9 amateur cooks competing across a range of challenges in the hope of taking home a cash prize, and the title of ‘Culinary Genius'.

In addition to the new format gameshow, Chef Ramsay will also present a primetime documentary series, which will begin filming this year, as well as appearing on ITV’s brand new week-night entertainment series, ‘The Nightly Show’.

The 30-minute daily entertainment show will air 5 nights a week at 10pm, for an 8 week run. Each week promises to feature an exciting celebrity host – David Walliams will be first in the hot seat, with more high profile names due to be released shortly.

Commenting on his return to ITV, Gordon Ramsay said: “We’re reaching audiences on every level with this one, and I’m really excited to work on three completely different formats with ITV.”

Studio Ramsay are currently looking for amateur cooks to take part in the brand new ITV series, Culinary Genius. To apply, please email culinarygenius@studioramsay.com for an application form, or visit www.itv.com/beontv
