Matt Abé

Matt Abé has spent the past ten years rising through the ranks of the Gordon Ramsay Group in London, where he now runs the kitchen as Chef de Cuisine at the three Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. 

Matt started his career in his home country, Australia, spending years developing his craft as a chef at Aria Restaurant, in Sydney and then later at Vue du monde in Melbourne.

At the age of 21 Matt made the decision to move to the UK to join the Gordon Ramsay Group, starting as Chef de Partie and then rising to Sous Chef at Claridge’s.

After two years at Claridge’s, Matt joined the team at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and was appointed Chef de Partie. After four years of hard work, Matt was promoted to Chef de Cuisine and now leads the team in the kitchen.

Jean-Claude Breton

Maitre d' Jean-Claude Breton initially met Gordon in France and joined him for the opening of Aubergine in London in 1993. Their relationship grew over the years and he is now absorbed in ensuring the utmost care and service for guests dining at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay.

His unfailing charm and attention to detail is renowned in all of London and enjoyed by our guests.

James Lloyd

Following a successful career at London’s most impressive establishments, James Lloyd joined Restaurant Gordon Ramsay as Head Sommelier in February 2016. His third appointment within the Gordon Ramsay Group, James brings with him a wealth of experience thanks to over 15 years in the industry.

James began his time with the Group in 2002, where he joined the three Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay as a Commis Sommelier and rose to Assistant Head Sommelier. James then moved to New York as part of the opening team for Gordon before leaving the group in 2007 to continue his adventures in Italy.

James re-joined the Gordon Ramsay Group in 2016 as Head Sommelier at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. Having maintained three Michelin stars for 15 years, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is unrivalled when it comes to fine dining in London, providing elegant and unsurpassed modern French cuisine.
