The Best Outdoor Dining in London

Tuesday 16 July 2019

TN Sunny terrace Thames DESKTOP

Getting outdoors and soaking up the Vitamin D is our favourite part about Summer. When it’s beautifully sunny outside, who wants to sit indoors? If you’re on the same wavelength, then check out our Summer terraces – the perfect places to spend the Summer (and try something tasty, too).

For Fish & Chips

fish and chips at the narrow

Fish and Chips is THE British Summertime meal. At The Narrow Gordon Ramsay, you can enjoy beer battered, line caught haddock with mushy peas, tartare sauce, and chips by the river, sitting on our beautiful terrace by the Thames. Watch the boats go by and take in the spectacular skyline of Canary Wharf.

Wash your meal down with a sparkling glass of Aperol Spritz, whilst enjoying our Aperol inspired Summer Terrace, decked out in that unmistakable orange colour. Or, take a seat in our giant Aperol deckchair (quite literally decked out in orange) and enjoy a London Bells – Belzasar White, peach puree, mint and prosecco.

The Narrow Terrace is dog friendly too (ask inside for doggie water bowls), so whether you’re bringing your pooch in after a walk by the Thames path, or you just want to do some local dog spotting, it’s the perfect place!

For Watching the World go by

HSK belsazar frose 2019

Heddon Street Kitchen is right in the centre of all the hustle and bustle of the West End – within a few minutes’ walk of major West End Shows, a stone’s throw from Hamleys and all the other shops on Regent Street, and within each reach of The National Gallery – no wonder this is the ideal place for sitting and watching the world go by.

Even better, you can see the comings and goings of Regent Street’s food quarter with a glass of Frose in one hand and a sharing dessert in the other. Discover the Belzasar cocktail menu, including the slushie for grownups, as well as our Sticky Toffee, Eton Mess, and Chocolate & Oreo desserts – here for the Summer only!

For Sharing with Friends

Rum Shack Cheers

If you’re looking for an outdoor experience in London to share with your mates, then look no further than the Rum Shack at York & Albany, in Camden. You’ll have the whole cabin to yourself, so plug in your own music, try and cocktail or two, and get snacking on our incredible sweet and savoury sharing platters. Just don’t forget to book before you go!

For Something Sophisticated

London House Tonic Terrace Exterior Tablet

Outdoor spaces don’t come much prettier or more sophisticated than the Tonic Terrace at London House, in Battersea. Draped in wisteria, this tranquil paradise is hidden behind the restaurant – so you’ll have to walk through to find it! If you visit with a friend, why not make the most of our Summer in the City menu? You’ll both get two courses for £15 each, and you can choose from Caesar Salad, Dingly Dell pork belly, linguine with pesto, and roasted cauliflower soup.

If you’d rather just sip on something and relax, then our Fever-Tree G&T menu is ideal.
